I used to think the expression if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen, was crazy. Now I know the person who coined it was specifically talking about working in a French kitchen. And I don’t think he’s crazy anymore.

I don't think I've ever felt so exhausted, sore, confused, frustrated, overwhelmed, and stupid all at one time. But I guess that’s typical when you start work at one of the best restaurants in Paris.
