Corn is plentiful at the farmer's market here in Lake Oswego. In order to take advantage of its sweet fresh flavor, I made a fabulous corn soup.

Before his trip, I made a list of items Fabrice should taste. This being only his second visit to the US, I wanted to introduce him to some of my favorite treats and things traditionally labeled as “American”.
