I always dread when the clock signals that I only have 24 hours remaining in Paris. It seems like the hours that follow mock me, speeding up like there’s some unseen race to takeoff. Each moment becomes more precious. Each glance more meaningful. We try to pack a whole trip of “I love you” into an ever-shrinking period of time.
