I always dread when the clock signals that I only have 24 hours remaining in Paris. It seems like the hours that follow mock me, speeding up like there’s some unseen race to takeoff. Each moment becomes more precious. Each glance more meaningful. We try to pack a whole trip of “I love you” into an ever-shrinking period of time.

For the two years I lived in Paris, I’ve continually heard and read about the organic market in the 6th arrondissement. But getting out of bed early on a Sunday morning has never been first on my list. This time around however, I’m ready to see what the hype is all about.

There’s just something about Paris that makes me sigh with contentment. Coming here is like putting on my favorite pajamas or eating my mom’s chocolate chip cookies. It’s familiar. It’s comfortable. It’s Paris.
