Be Well Utah with Dr. Oz

Be Well Utah is a fun, family health week in August, culminating in a health fair on Saturday at Rice Eccles Stadium. This year, I had a chance to demo some of my most favorite recipes: summer guacamole in cucumber cups, homemade mac and cheese, Moroccan spiced turkey burgers, chili lime flank steak, and triple chocolate brownies.
We usually start the day with a series of TV segments with Fox 13. This year, a special guest stopped by to say hello:

Now I should try to explain this photo or Dr. Oz, Nineveh Dinha, and me. For the segment, I wanted to do something fresh and light, so I chose a great recipe for heirloom cherry tomatoes stuffed with basil lime goat cheese. You start by hollowing out large cherry tomatoes with a melon baller. Then you mix together soft goat cheese, lime zest and juice, basil, salt, pepper, and a little bit of milk. This mixture is put into a piping bag (or a ziplock bag with the corner cut off) and then piped into the tomatoes.
But Dr. Oz had other ideas and decided to "main line" the goat chees directly from the pastry bag. The picture is priceless in my opinion!
