Yesterday on AM Northwest, I showed Dave and Helen (a self-proclaimed Brussels sprout dis-liker) how to make my version. Usually people don't enjoy them because they're bitter and/or overcooked. However if you roast them in a very hot oven, the natural sugars in the vegetable caramelize and the bitterness disappears. Plus with only 6 to 7 minutes in the oven, the sprouts aren't overcooked.
