Fall Menus

Wouldn't it be nice to come home after a long day at work and have dinner already done? Imagine walking in the door, car keys in hand, and before you can hang up your coat, you smell the mouthwatering aromas of herbs and roasting vegetables wafting through the air. All you have to do is sit down and enjoy a hearty meal - you don't even have to clean up afterwards?

Or what about the neighbors you've been meaning to have over to dinner? Or your spouse's birthday? Treat them to a fabulous home-cooked meal. All you have to do is pour the wine.

Here's what's on the menu:

Entrées (starters)
Caesar salad, shaved parmesan, garlic croutons
Beet carpaccio, endive, arugula, crumbled goat cheese, lemon olive oil
Tomato parfait, mozzarella cream, basil oil
Butter lettuce, herbs, French vinaigrette
Carrot ginger soup, cardamom crème fraîche

Plats (main course)
Herb crusted lamb chops, roasted fingerling potatoes, Pinot Noir reduction
Mahogany beef stew, hoisin sauce, horseradish mashed potatoes
Roasted pork tenderloin, onion cherry compote, Port reduction
Dijon pepper chicken, herb sauce, winter polenta
Herb roasted chicken, pan jus, roasted winter vegetables

Desserts (sweet stuff)
Molten chocolate cake, vanilla bean ice cream
Lavender crème brûlée
Vanilla panna cotta, Merlot chocolate sauce
Tarte tatin, ginger crème fraîche

But that's not all! Add a cheese course with four domestic and imported cheeses. If it's a special occasion, create a unique menu to turn a weeknight supper into something truly unforgettable.

Do you travel? I wish I lived closer....those menus sound delicious. Good luck with wedding planning, by the way. I loved sharing the planning with Adam, it made everything so much nicer. Then it really was "our" day. Can't wait to hear more about it all.
