You’ve been with my through my whole journey, so now is an opportunity for you to really participate. I’m still coming up with ideas for my final cuisine exam and am open for suggestions – even if they’re just little ones.

To sweeten the pot and get your creative juices flowing, I’m offering a reward. If you offer up a suggestion that I use in my final exam, I will come to your house and recreate my final exam (plus dessert of course) for you and three other people – for free. Now this is a fantastic deal because gone are the days of freebie dinners. Sorry, but I have to find some way to pay for my education! Not only will you have an amazing French dinner cooked by a certified pastry and cuisine chef in your own home, but I will even do the dishes. As long as you have a dishwasher.

The lines are open and operators are awaiting your call. My email box is empty, so type away. I have voice mail on my cell phone. We pick up the mail each day. I don’t have a place for a carrier pigeon, but if you want to send ideas that way, I’ll work it out. So act now – this is a limited time offer!

Do they celebrate Halloween in France? Maybe you can throw some pumpkin in there somewhere. Better yet, Get a "P" theme going: Pastry, pumpkin, pecan, pesto.... :)

Hi Tse: I can't offer any helpful suggestions. My idea of a nice meal is guacamole with tortilla chips, and huevos con chorizo. You can take the boy out of the country, but he will still love his favorite Mexican foods. I hope others will have more constructive suggestions for you.

Or... I read that the most popular hunted animals in France are red deer, roe deer, boar, fox, hare and rabbit. You could create a nice venison dish with Salade Averyronnaise and Tartes aux Tomates. (Working hard to get to see Tse in person again!! If I win, I'll need to lean on the rest of you to come up with a creative way to explain this to my wife.)

OK... negative points for me for not reading the original blog that listed the ingredients. Ignore my previous posts.
At least I'll learn from this failure... :)

Don't know if it will help for the final, but thought you might enjoy reading this:

After you've had a good laugh, check out the last recipe. Maybe this would work for a garnish? Do they allow sweet garnishes? See why I'm not in culinary school?
