Clare
Clare looking lovely during our lunch at Le Meurice.
-
Scallops
For my entre (starter), I had the scallops.
-
Leeks
Clare opted for the leeks. After her first bite, she was prompted to say, "I'm in love with a leek." I don't blame her.
-
Duck
Clare chose the duck for her main course. It was served with baby vegetables and poached foie gras.
-
Lamb
I opted for the lamb which was cooked perfectly and served with confit tomatoes, capers and fried onions.
-
Dessert
The amuse bouce of dessert consisted of little chocolate goodies and the most amazing lemon sorbet with wild strawberries.
-
Berries
For dessert, Clare opted for the wild strawberries, raspberries, and almond panna cotta.
-
Grapefruit
I chose the grapefruit with candied ginger, ginger ice cream and ginger froth. It was so light and ethereal.
-
Tea
We sat for quite a while enjoying our tea. I found out that the restaurant recently spent a lot of money on new plates. They all exquisite and are all made by Limoges.
-
Tuilieris
After a lovely lunch, we took a stroll through the Tuileries across the street. It was a perfect spring day outside, so we sat in the sun and chatted.
-
Kenzo Jacket
This jacket is part of the new spring collection. Although Parisians won't start wearing color for another three months, I'm still going to strut around in it!
-
Kenzo Shirt
I thought this shirt was so darling, so of course it had to come home with me!
-
Furla
I love Furla purses - very simple design and nothing over done. Here's my new one.

Kenzo Sweater
I love this black and white sweater set. Sexy yet elegant.
