Mr. Sprinkles
My Italian friend I've nicknamed Mr. Sprinkles because he's responsible for sprinkling all the macarons with chocolate or iridescent powders. -
Closing
One of the chefs starts closing a tray of milk chocolate passion fruit macarons.

Mother's Day
For Mother's Day, we made heart-shaped macarons filled with jasmine tea ganache. -
Cherry On The Cake
This cake is called Cherry On The Cake and is the most expensive thing we sell. I special ordered one on my last day so I could take it home and try it. It's a milk chocolate triangle filled with six layers of hazelnut cake, praline, chocolate disks, milk chocolate ganache, and milk chocolate mousse. It's a bit like eating a huge piece of candy, but ten times better! -
Petits Fours
On weekends, we sell minature versions of all our cakes. Don't they look tempting?
-
Olive Oil Vanilla
These macarons are filled with an olive oil vanilla ganache and topped with two small slices of green olives.

Champagne
Pourring champagne into plastic glasses for the team.

Fellow American
I got to know one of my fellow Americans while we did our internships at Pierre Herme. The macaron team referred to us as the chickens because we tended to talk a lot.

Lovely
This is after a glass of champagne, a glass of beer and two glasses of wine. I'm having a good time don't you think?!?
