Girls Just Want To Have Fun
My friends Gabrielle and Jessica get silly after a fabulous French dinner close to Notre Dame.

Mosaic
This macaron called Mosaic has a cinnamon pistachio ganache and two cherries inside. This is one of the many flavors we make at the Paris pastry shop where I'm an intern.
-
Chocolate Passion Fruit
This is probably my favorite macaron that we make on a regular basis. Inside is a milk chocolate passion fruit ganache. It's quite heavenly and sinful at the same time.
-
Pretties
Several little beauties all lined up, ready to be eaten.

Falafel
I've finally found the best falafel place in Paris, possibly the world in the Marais. Lenny Kravitz goes there whenever he's in town. People line up for a block or so, just to get their hands on one. This is the standard with falafel, red cabbage, cucumber, yogurt sauce and lettuce. Faulous but very messy!

Chow Down
Falafels in hand, everyone stands around to chow down on this heavenly goodness. The green building behind the people is where I always go. When everything else in Paris is closed on Sundays, the Marais is always open and alive. Dead on Saturdays because of the Sabbath, people flock to the tiny streets to shop, eat and enjoy themselves.

First Course
For Easter dinner, I whipped up some good old American dishes. To start we had a great antipasti plate full of different flavors. Okay, I know this isn't totally traditional and more of an Italian thing, but bear with me!
-
Iceberg Wedge
Using the recipe on this site, I made an iceberg, blue cheese and bacon salad. There were lots of leftovers, so I'm still savoring this combination of flavors.
-
Roasted Pork Tenderloin
Okay, I know it doesn't look so fabulous on the plate, but trust me when I say this dish is delicious. The pork is roasted and served over cream cheese mashed potatoes and a Port, cherry and onion sauce.

Panna Cotta
One of my favorite desserts is panna cotta. The rich, smooth cream is cut by the acidic, yet sweet tang of a raspberry coulis and of course a dollop of chocolate.
